Even in 2015, like every year, Sporteventi has organized 4 weeks of AC Milan Academy Camps in Cortina d’Ampezzo – Dolomites – Alpine region. From 21st to 27th of June, from 28th of June to 4th of July, from 5th to 11th of July and from 12th to 18th of July: these are the dates of the prestigious AC Milan football camps.
AC Milan Supervisors that will manage all trainings of our participants during the weeks will be (exactly):
- Fulvio Fiorin – Assisatant Coach of Filippo Inzaghi in the AC Milan First Team;
- Filippo Galli – AC Milan Youth Sector Manager;
- Walter De Vecchi – former AC Milan player with Gianni Rivera and coach of AC Milan U-14 Youth Team.
- Gino Maldera – the 70s black and red champion, who won Champion Cup and Intercontinental Cup.
In the following lines we are going to give some information about the “Pearl of the Dolomites” (Cortina d’Ampezzo), the facilities of the AC Milan Camps and the numerous ways offered by the Dolomites for spending your free time.
Cortina d’Ampezzo can be easily reached by highway 27 (Venezia-Belluno) and other 60 km of state highway.
The summer football Milan Camp (Milan Junior Camp), that has been in Cortina d’Ampezzo for 15 years, makes the sold out. It was rewarded by Milan as the best AC Milan Camps of the world in 2002, 2003 and 2007 (the only years when AC Milan awarded the camp managers).
AC Milan Camp is hosted at Hotel Alaska, a wonderful 4 stars hotel, situated in the centre of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Cortina d’Ampezzo is fully surrounded by the majestic Dolomites that in the summer evenings come alive obtaining a pink colour: this gives the city and the valley a beauty that is unique in the world.
The most beautiful mountain paths of the Alps can be easily and quickly reached by the ski lifts in Cortina d’Ampezzo. Actually, it is possible to make excursions for discovering the UNESCO Dolomites and appreciating the typical meals of the numerous mountain restaurants in Cortina.
Moreover, you can’t miss the glamour appointment of the “Via dello struscio” in Corso Italia and the happy hour in one of the most exclusive bars of the valley. During the summer the old quarters organize parties with music and wine and food stands, in order to dance and enjoy the Dolomites flavours under the stars.
