Even this year the Blue Flag program has awarded the highest quality Italian beaches, seasides that have clean waters and offer services and safety as well as an education environmental programs. Both Jesolo Lido (Venice seaside, Italy) and Lignano Sabbiadoro (Adriatic seaside, Italy) – locations chosen for the AC Milan Junior Camps of the summer 2024 – have received the international award “Blue Flag”.
Both locations therefore boast excellent quality of bathing water, sanitation and life-saving services, high levels of waste separation, accessibility of beaches and environmental education programs implemented by public schools.
Having also been recognized as Tourist Landings 2024 by FEE, the two locations have seen their piers and piers for pleasure boaters rewarded as structures of very high standards.
The AC Milan football camps will therefore bring participants closer to these splendid and award-winning Adriatic locations.
The ports of the two cities provide further service to tourists, and possibly to the families of participants in the Milan campus.
The Port of Jesolo, one of the most modern and equipped on the Adriatic, is located 7 miles from Venice and easily reachable from the lagoon and the canals. It offers 650 berths from 6 to 30 meters and is equipped with all the equipment for mooring, storage, repair and maintenance of boats up to 100 tons. It also has a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, solarium, large green spaces and free Wi-Fi, all in an exclusive atmosphere.
- Lignano boasts 4 marinas for all motor and sailing boat enthusiasts:
- Darsena Porto Vecchio with restaurants, bars, landing stage for motor ships and 20 ton cranes
- Marina Punta Verde with 20 ton crane, bar, Wi-Fi, restaurant, minimarket, swimming pool and bicycles
- Marina Punta Faro with an 802 ton crane offers golf carts, luggage transport, bicycle service, Wi-Fi, mooring assistance (24 hours), tennis courts, five-a-side football fields and swimming pool
- Marina Uno Tourist Port with mooring and traffic assistance, swimming pool, water aerobics, 4-star hotel with panoramic restaurant and beauty center. Diving lessons and boating license.
The AC Milan Football Camps will take place in Jesolo Lido from 21st July to 3rd August and in Lignano Sabbiadoro from 4th to 10th August; in these two locations will be present the Technical Supervisor Diego Bortoluzzi and the Sporteventi’s Manager Luca Santochirico.
