Who are the Supervisors – Soccer Legends?
Sporteventi provides one of the most prestigious coaching staffs in Italy and Europe directed by Soccer Legends – Supervisors who are former AC Milan players of proven national and international fame and prestige or coaches or managers of crucial importance.
Their task is to supervise the quality level of the AC Milan Academy soccer Camp as a whole and in particular the technical level of trainings, in order to guarantee standards in line with the AC Milan reputation and in compliance with the guidelines of the AC Milan Youth Sector (AC Milan).
The Supervisors – Soccer Legends present at the AC Milan Academy football camps of the summer 2025 will be:
Walter De Vecchi
Walter De Vecchi played for AC Milan in the 1974-1975 season and from 1978 to 1981, for a total of 102 matches played for the red&Black team of Gianni Rivera’s FIFA Ballon d’Or with whom he won the Italian Championship in 1979.
Since 2012, he hold various coaching positions in AC Milan’s youth teams, eventually becoming, in 2019 and then for 5 years, the coordinator of all AC Milan’s competitive teams (U15 / U16 / U17 / U18).
Pietro Vierchowod
Pietro Vierchowod is a former Italian footballer who played as a defender. He was a World Cup winner with the Italian national team in 1982 and was part of AC Milan in 1996.
Considered one of the greatest defenders of all time, he won the World Cup with Italy in 1982 and finished third in the 1990 World Cup. With different Clubs (Roma, Sampdoria and Juventus) he won 2 Serie A titles, 4 Coppa Italia titles, 2 Italian Super Cups, 1 Cup Winners’ Cup, and 1 Champions League.
Diego Bortoluzzi

Diego Bortoluzzi grew up and made his debut with Atalanta in 1985. He later played for Brescia, Venezia, and finally Treviso.
He later became a head coach in Serie A with Treviso and Palermo. He also served as assistant coach to Francesco Guidolin in Serie A with Palermo, Parma, and Udinese, as well as in the Premier League with Swansea City. Lastly, he was Andrea Mandorlini’s assistant coach in Serie A with Verona during the 2015-2016 season.
Stefano Eranio
Stefano Eranio is a former Italian footballer who won three Serie A titles (1993, 1994, and 1996), three Italian Supercups (1992, 1993, and 1994) and one Champions League (1994) with AC Milan. He also played in two Champions League finals.
In May 1997, he moved to England to play for Derby County, making his Premier League debut on August 9, 1997, against Blackburn Rovers.
Who are the AC Milan Technical Directors?
The AC Milan Technical Director is an AC Milan coach who coordinates the technical part of the Academy soccer camp with the Soccer Legend – Supervisor and with the Sporteventi’s Manager of the summer camp.
He reports directly to AC Milan on the technical standards of the AC Milan Academy soccer Camp, subsequently providing AC Milan with a report on the adherence of the AC Milan Junior Camp and ASD Sporteventi to the guidelines set by the AC Milan Youth Sector.
Who are the Sporteventi’s Managers?
The Technical Director (Sporteventi’s Manager) is responsible for the technical management of the AC Milan football camp and plans the technical-football aspects of the AC Milan Camp in compliance with the guidelines established by the AC Milan Youth Sector and the AC Milan Academy (AC Milan). He coordinates with the AC Milan Technical Director, the Supervisor-Soccer Legend, and the Board of Directors of ASD Sporteventi.
The Sporteventi’ s Manager oversees the coaches present at the camp (approximately one for every 10-12 participants) and is also responsible for the logistics of the assigned AC Milan Junior Camp location, as well as the overall local organization of the football camp.
Who are the Assistants and what is their role?
The assistant supports the technical staff of the AC Milan Academy Junior Camp and has complex responsibilities, namely:
- The Assistant supporting the staff has a highly complex and essential role, which includes:
- Managing the laundry service for the participants.
- Handling injuries that may occur, both on the field (with medical kits and defibrillators) and at the hospital, where they accompany and assist campers during medical visits or treatments.
- Coordinating airport transfers in collaboration with the administration.
- Supporting the staff in case of urgent needs.
- Helping younger campers who may experience homesickness.
- Assisting during meals to accommodate specific dietary needs (e.g., celiac disease or allergies).
- Managing medication administration for participants who require ongoing treatment before or during the camp.
- The Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of all participants throughout the AC Milan Junior Camp experience.
